EAST ASIAN SOUNDTRACK
Road to Beijing
One of my specialty in music production is Eastern Asian traditional sound design. In this example, we can listen to combination of western instruments and Chinese traditional instruments, such as Dizi, Xiao and Guzheng.
The scale used here is western instead of Chinese since it is more popular choice for years now.
GAME SOUNDTRACKS
This is a showcase of soundtracks made for a fanmade project that never went public. It was build upon 8-bit pixel game, inspired by old school video games. By the creative directions of the developers and team leader, we went with the more modern approach rather than 8bit music combining modern with retro.
First soundtrack was the theme made for a tropical island and a small village that was there. The whole soundtrack is structured for a happy, sunbathed and idyllic place.
Down bellow are few more soundtracks from the same project.
First one represents a boss battle. We went for the extensive usage of strings and the mysterious and ominous feeling since this was planned to be a dark boss battle.
Second one is representing a cave that is placed on the island mentioned bellow. Soundtrack is very dark and ambient with some fearful and scary feeling to it.
Third and final soundtrack made was for a boss battle with a boss called Viktor. We went for a heavy metal or rocker vibe, with extensive use of electric guitar and agressive drums.
