About me :)
My name is Tarik and I have been part of music industry as an artist since 2016 and have been studying psychology from 2017 till 2022.
I have relative experience in field of psychology and statistics. It is an industry very close to me because I enjoy interacting with people and helping them and society grow! That is where I get my artistic nature as well! During my studies, I have done few research papers and statistics for them, including my final research paper who used accumulative knowledge of my 4 year studies. I also helped many of my fellow students during their researches.
Starting off as an electronic music producer with genres such as house genre, expanding it to many different genres throughout the years including techno, lo fi hip-hop and phonk. Having an impressive 2019 with the success of pioneering Asian lo fi hip-hop, as an artist, kept growing until 2022 when I signed to a Canadian label Nettwerk from Vancouver.
In 2022, I have started my masters education in Music Production and Engineering at Berklee Valencia, which is part of Berklee College of Music and successfully graduated in July of 2023 as part of generation of 2023.
So far, I have left so much music influence on lo-fi hip-hop, specifically in Asian lo-fi scene, amounting over 35 million streams on Spotify and over 100 million streams/listenings on all platforms combined.
Being a part of an indie game development as a soundtrack composer and audio engineering, would love to continue also in that part of the music industry.
